Weigh In Wednesday & Meal Review

With my new Slimming World group I now have a new weigh in day; I'm finding getting weighed on Wednesdays works really well. If I have a little slip up during the weekend it allows me chance to recover and get back on plan before weigh in day.

As my regular followers will be aware I upload all my meals to my Instagram account, but for those who don't follow bellow is a quick photo of what I ate during the week.

I had a gain of 0.5 pounds, this was expected.  I have stuck to plan all week. However; I have now incorporated a lot of weight lifting in my training plan. I have lost inches in the few short weeks that I've been training hard. I'm really hoping that I will notice a difference on the scales at next weigh in.

Tiny Dancer

Little Miss now attends ballet lessons once a week; her nursery also provide dance as part of the curriculum. This is fantastic for my little hyperactive daughter, giving her a chance to burn off a lot of energy.

Yesterday she had her first dance recital at the school. I couldn't be more proud of my outgoing girl.

Free crochet heart pattern

Its time to grab your hooks people! Its quick, its easy and can be finished in under 15 minutes (my kind of project), Please don't feel you have to stick to this pattern - it's only a guide.

So if you fancy having a go grab yourself some double knitting yarn and a 4 mm crochet hook.

**This pattern uses UK crochet terms**

Start by making a slip knot and then work 6 chain stitches (if you want a smaller hole in the centre of your heart then chain 4).

Use a slip stitch to join your chain into a foundation ring (joining into the first stitch made).

Round 1:

  • Chain 6 (this will count as your first double treble)
  • Work 3 double treble stitches into the centre of your foundation ring.
  • Work 4 treble stitches into the centre of your foundation ring.
  • Work 1 double treble stitches into the centre of your foundation ring.
